Bill to repeal DOMA introduced in House

Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), has introduced a bill in the US House of Representatives to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, which bans same-sex marriages from being recognized in other states. DOMA also prevents legally married married same-sex couples from receiving the 1138 federal rights that come with marriage.
