National Impact of the Prop 8 Trial

Last week the debate over same-sex marriage moved beyond state-level politics and into the federal court system. Arguments challenging Proposition 8 are currently being heard by the U.S. District Court in San Francisco. The impact of the Prop 8 trial could go far beyond legalizing same-sex marriage in California – this decision could change the discriminatory status quo established nearly 15 years ago by the federal passing of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). DOMA defines marriage as…See More

Why are you boycotting marriage?
I am boycotting marriage because 1 in 3 queer or questioning youth attempts suicide. It's time for change.

Obama Administration Defends DOMA

"I support the complete repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) - a position I have held since before arriving in the U.S. Senate. But... Last week the Obama Administration defended… Continue

Actually, that would be really awesome. I've never done anything like this before, so any help I can get would be great. But, does it cost anything?
